Well, Howdy Pricklers!

First things first, I owe you an apology. I was looking forward to seeing everyone at the Pickwick Place Book Expo, but unfortunately, my ride got sick and they frown on blind cowgirls holding the wagon’s reigns, which left me stranded back here on the ranch.

Needless to say, this is one mighty unhappy cowgirl especially after the debacle IN West Virginia WITH THEM withholding my vendors license and not being able to attend that book festival! And now today. This just plumb stinks! I sure hate missing the opportunity to visit with readers and fellow vendors. I don’t get out much,  and really look forward to these things. Keeping the fingers crossed  that the next one has some success… or at least I can attend it.

But looking on the sunny side… there’s still a few more events before the year’s over with to catch me out and about. I’ll be at the Bellaire Book Fair on the 14th, Hocking Hills on the 21st, and Jingle at the Mingle on the 28th. So if you missed me this time around, there’s still a chance to say howdy!

💋 Mistletoe Kisses Is Coming!

Well, I finally wrangled that next story into shape! Mistletoe Kisses is scheduled to publish November 17th! 🎄🤠

That’s right, another little romance is headed your way, and it’ll be available on Kindle Unlimited, too.

Unfortunately, I won’t be offering a 99¢ sale anytime soon, but if you’d like a free digital copy in exchange for an honest review on Good Reads, I’d be mighty grateful to lasso one for you!

And if you’d like to read any of my other romances digitally, just holler. I’m not picky about which story you choose. I’d simply appreciate an honest review on Goodreads. Every little bit helps this cowgirl spread the word!

🐾 A Little Something for the Pups

On a different note, I whipped up another batch of Pumpkin Peanut Poppers! I had hoped to bring some along to the expo today, but since that didn’t happen, looks like Butterscotch gets to enjoy the spoils.

They’re freshly made, with no preservatives, so they’ll need to be eaten within the next 10 days. Something tells me my pupper won’t have any trouble taking care of that chore!

And speaking of homemade dog treats, if you’ve picked up a copy of The Grub Wrangler and Gruff: Dog Biscuit Almanac, I’d love to hear from you!

Shoot me an email or send me a picture of your pup enjoying one of the recipes. I’d especially love to know which treat is his favorite. And I might even mention what they fancy on my social media accounts. Around here, it’s a toss-up between the Pumpkin Peanut Poppers and the Golden Delicious Delights.

Until Next Time…

That’s all the ranch news for now! Thanks for sticking with me, even when my wagon busts a wheel, and throws some dust  in this cowgirl’s plans.

Keep those tails wagging, those pages turning, and those hearts open.

Until next time, stay prickly, my friend,

Chrissy Hartmann 🤠💖
